Extended AACEE Leadership Meeting 2009
on 11 and 12 February 2009
The 2 days event was held in Singapore and the meeting was webcasted LIVE to 64 countries with 294 concurrent connections and attended by 110 Leadership Units of Unilever.
The webcast included a question and answer session which allowed the participants to submit their questions to the speaker while attending the meeting. A survey was done online to capture the feedback from the participants during the webcast.
The webcast has helped Unilever to gain the following benefits:
- Reaching out to staff and delivering information across geographic boundaries in 64 countries simultaneously.
- Cost effective way of broadcasting the messages to staff regardless of their location, without them having to travel to attend the meeting.
- Branding of the company's look and feel.
- Statistics report providing information on the attendees' participation allows measuring of return on investment.
- Maintaining access control using registration page to ensure that only staff from Unilever are allowed to access the webcast information.
- Allowing two-way communication for Question and Answer between the speaker and the audience, and getting feedback through live chat, polling.
- Extending the lifespan of the event by archiving the webcast and making it available for on-demand access.
